Employee or network downtime can cost a lot of money.  In order to remedy this problem Quaid & Associates has partnered with Netsupport 24-7.  When one of your employees encounters a computer or network related issue he or she can call our main number and request remote assistance.  A representative from our company will quickly respond with a phone call instructing your employee how to initiate a chat session.  Once a chat session has been initiated a software package will be delivered to the remote computer allowing our representative to take control of your employee's computer.  Problems can be solved quickly and efficiently thereby reducing IT costs and downtime.

 

Terminal Services

Terminal services or RDP is a built in feature of Microsoft server operating systems from windows NT 4.0 through the current Server 2003.  This feature allows us to remotely manage your servers.  If a problem is encountered it can be quickly diagnosed through RDP.  Travel time can equal downtime when you have a mission critical problem at your location.

VNC

Terminal server does have its limitations which is where VNC comes in to play.  VNC allows us to remotely control your server or client computers as if we were sitting in front of them.  Terminal server creates a "session" which would be like multiple users being logged in to the same computer at the same time.  VNC allows you to take control of the remote computers mouse and keyboard as if you were sitting in front of it.  This allows us to execute commands and make modifications that would otherwise be impossible through terminal server.
